The content of the course itself is not the most interesting and the style that Middlebury (or maybe just Dorman) chooses to teach it in does not help with that. However, the class isn't that difficult even after getting rid of take home tests. Grades were determined entirely with exam scores and a few quizzes meaning that homework was not required. With that being said, doing the homework was the most effective method to get an A in this course. The tests were very fair but not easy.

Dorman is the goat. Such a cool personality, bit scatter brained, but makes every class entertaining. Plus brings his dog all the time. Exams are fair and not hard if you just do the homework. i recc using youtube to help visualize some of the spatial concepts

I took this course with Dr. Proctor, but middcourses wasn't giving me the option to review her section. The problem sets in the class can be intimidating if it's your first time in a proof-based class, but Dr. Proctor is extremely helpful when it comes to building your proof-writing skills and mathematical intuition. The course content builds on itself in a coherent and satisfying way, so even if the applications of the material aren't immediately obvious the course is engaging. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to build math literacy, improve proof-writing, or just learn cool theory and solve fun problems.
