Professor Silva is incredible. This course is discussion based so I was able to learn from professor silva and all of my classmates which was lovely. All projects are self guided and allow you to explore your creative interests. This course is low stress but you also learn so much! I had no experience with the material going into the course but I always felt like my ideas and questions were valued and respected. If this class is offered again, you should register!

I had the pleasure of being taught by Professor Silva Daniel at Middlebury, and I must say, he is the best professor I have ever had! His teaching style is remarkable, and he truly cares about his students' success. One thing I appreciated about him is that he creates a friendly and welcoming class environment that makes learning enjoyable. Professor Silva Daniel's approach to grading is also very reasonable. He is not strict and focuses more on the importance of learning the material than on getting high grades. This approach is refreshing and inspiring as it encourages students to enjoy the learning process and understand the concepts more deeply. I can't say enough good things about Professor Silva Daniel. He is an understanding and approachable professor who truly values his students' learning and well-being. I highly recommend taking any class with him if you have the opportunity!

Professor Silva is a joy of a professor and very understanding and accommodating. The class is purely discussion and reading based, with two other projects throughout the year. The classroom environment is chill and receptive.
