Daniel Miramontes

Daniel was the perfect instructor for this course. The combination of technique and choreographic work was fantastic. I got into and stayed in great physical dancing shape and grew as a choreographer and artist.

460 is a hard but fulfilling class. It does require a lot of work outside of class, but it depends on how many hours you want to put into it. You need to choreograph and teach outside of class, class time is normally technique and brainstorming. I really enjoyed this class, it is one of the best classes I've taken at Middlebury. I wished there was more time during class to work on the final project, but it is doable. Daniel is an incredible professor and someone you can count on. The college is lucky to have him. Take a class with him!
