this course was so fun! Claudio is amazing and is super passionate about the subject material and all the plays we read- he makes this class so entertaining. discussions are chill and fun and even if you didn't really do the readings they were easy to pick up on and join in. highly recommend taking this even if theatre may not be your thing- there's a lot of good stuff in this course!

I loved taking this class with Professor Claudio, his teaching methods are extremely entertaining and captivating. The class is heavy discussion based, but its truly so much fun and entertaining. Although they aren't many assignments, they hold a lot of weight, so definitely plan according. Claudio is very understanding and i would recommend taking the course.

This course was very fun and fulfilling. The first half of the semester mostly involved readings and discussions. For the second half, most of the homework consisted of leading rehearsals outside of class. You need to present a midterm scene and a final scene (both of which you need to find actors for). Claudio is very fun and enthusiastic. He can certainly be a little intense, but you can tell he cares about your learning and is very accommodating to your needs. If you are clearly putting effort into the discussions and scenes, he's pretty nice about grading.
