Chong Han
Super eye opening course as someone who went to a PWI high school. I felt like Han always provided very valuable anecdotes and I was always interested in what he had to say. Readings were heavy and it took a long time to get grades back. For a class I honestly took to fill my schedule, this has been one of the more valuable classes i've ever taken in my life.
This was a nice chill class, some weeks had lots of reading but honestly... after the third week the rest of the classes were just student led discussions/project presentations. Classes could get boring sometimes because of this but sometimes the discussions, specifically in the beginning, were valuable.
Lots of lecturing with small group discussions. The lectures could get boring/less engaging at times, but overall interesting content. There weren't any major assignments, just two weekly discussion questions based on the assigned reading, and one project due at the end of the semester.
