Catherine Combelles

Catherine is the best professor in the biology department. She cares so much about you as a student and her passion for reproductive biology is evident. I would recommend this class to each and every student interested.

This course requires constant reading, but this information is distributed again during lecture. You choose the format of your final project, which is can be as abstract as you want as long as it relates to this topic. Professor Combelles brings a lot of excitement, and makes this topic very engaging, I would highly recommend this course!

Professor Combelles was the sweetest professor I think I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. Her disposition and interest in developmental biology as it relates not only to current biological research but also current events and politics creates a safe space to talk about a lot of different topics. It was really fun to do different journal clubs, and work with classmates on varying research papers to best understand molecular mechanisms.
