Catharine Wright
This has been my favorite class this semester. The topics we tackled have been thought-provoking and very engaging. In this class, I could feel a strong sense of community from the very beginning. Catharine gives relevant feedback all the time and if you follow it, you will be successful in this class. You definitely have to enjoy writing, be open-minded and ready to critically think on feminist topics, ranging from the most theoretical ideologies to the most raw and graphic literature. You will always receive an extension if you need it. There is quite a bit of group-work as well. Over all, I know that that this class will remain a highlight of my Midd experience. The GSFS department has the best people!!

Prof Wright was an extremely accommodating professor and would always make time to provide helpful feedback for work. It's very clear she is passionate about the subject, and allows students to lead the conversations. If I had to only take one class for the rest of college, I would chose to take this one.
Catharine was a very kind and accommodating professor. The readings were very manageable and the homework was consistent but never too demanding. The class is broken down into 3 major assignments. It is more of an introductory writing class for those looking to strengthen their writing in various genres.
