I had a lot of fun in this class. The workload was super low (only two pages of dialogue- which in script format is nothing- a week). This meant I wasn’t stressing about writing a ton, so I could actually write about topics and characters I enjoyed. Her prompts were really good, but also you didn’t have to follow them. My favorite part of class though was workshopping our writing. I was initially terrified to have my work read aloud, but it was always super low stress and supportive and everyone seemed engaged and gave super helpful feedback. I also loved seeing my classmates’ work, and the vast variety of topics and styles they covered. She was a super easy grader, almost entirely completion based. I will say though, her feedback was often so positive that I wished she would’ve been more harsh on work that I submitted knowing it sucked. Whether you need an easy-A CW or have an interest in theater/creative writing, this is a great pick.
