Caileigh Glenn
This course isn't a gem, but it's the next best thing. The material moves pretty fast, and the reading load is standard for a PSCI course (extensive), but Glenn is lenient on grading, and there are shockingly few actual assignments throughout the semester. The final project (which basically makes up your entire grade) gives you leniency to engage with whatever concepts you like, which makes the 20 pages of writing manageable.Glenn is super engaging and does a way better job than any other teacher in the department at integrating class exercises that are ACTUALLY VALUABLE to learning the concepts. Overall, Glenn is Rookie of the Year as far as I'm concerned, and if you're looking for a PSCI elective, you can't go wrong here.

Professor Glenn is very enthusiastic about the material, and her lectures are very engaging. Readings for the week are not too bad, and there are a few smaller writing assignments to complete throughout the semester. The exams are not bad, but definition heavy. Professor Glenn is easy to reach, and super friendly. Overall, a great introduction to international politics.
Overall, I loved this course. Professor was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about course material. You get as much as you put into the course. Outside course work required two discussion posts throughout the semester and one final paper preceded by a presentation
