This class was terrific! It's a great J-term choice if you are looking for something new, low-stakes, and fun to take. Bee is very knowledgeable and has had a crazy career, including editing videos for some pretty famous celebrities. This class will teach you more about how to stitch clips together to make good edits than how to use the software. I didn't learn any fancy editing techniques, but I got a good grasp of how to tell a story and create visually appealing cuts.

Very cool course. Bee has a lot of experience and spends a lot of the class telling you that, and telling stories of her early days in editing. But she also has some really valuable things to tell you, and makes the projects feel meaningful. For example, one of the projects is edit clips together to make a car commercial (she gives you the clips) then she told us these were real clips for a real commercial she editing, then showed us hers. Every persons project is shared and people comment on it, which can get boring but its overall cool

This class is as hard as you make it to be; it can serve as an easy J-term filler or provide an opportunity to explore a useful skill. The class focuses only on the basics of editing in Premiere Pro, using effects and transforming video clips is not taught.
