Professor Crouzieres is a tough marker and she makes you do the homework before you learn the concept so you should self-learn so you get good grades on the homework. The textbooks don't have good lessons to teach you so you have to learn elsewhere. Study with your classmates. The tests are way easier but you need to memorize and know the content in the textbook. Overall, I didn't like the class too much, it was pretty tedious with so much work to do everyday.

I thought this class was a weird blend of language ability. The course is taught almost exclusively from a workbook. Crouzieres covers the content from the homework in class but we often ran out of time to cover the grammar we worked with on the homework. Crouzieres is kind and enthusiastic about the material, but the structure of the class was not my favorite. Homework was graded a little harsh, but exams were easy.
