Armelle Crouzieres-Ingenthron

Overall, Armelle was great! She was a lovely person and an accomodating instructor, but she moved FAST. Expect homework every night, and exams around every 6-7 classes. Big oral exam and presentation at the end of the semester. Overall, the work wasn't difficult, and you did get a lot out of it, but you absolutely have to keep up if you don't want to feel lost.

She is a very harsh grader and it is sometimes hard to communicate with her. Sometimes i feels overwhelmed talking to her about how to improve my language skills but she can helpful if you have specific questions.

This was a very good course to reacclimatize to taking French. We discussed various social issues while learning vocabulary and reviewing tenses. One difficulty I faced with this class was that the homework was on topics that we would discuss after it was due, so it could be difficult to understand the assignments.
