This class was fair overall in terms of grading, but the experience itself was pretty underwhelming. The material often felt dry, and the lectures didn’t do much to make it more engaging or easier to understand. While the professor graded reasonably and didn’t make the workload too overwhelming, the way the content was delivered made it hard to stay interested or even fully grasp what was being taught at times. There were moments when the explanations felt unclear, leaving students confused about what was expected on assignments or exams. The structure of the course could definitely use more organization and a stronger focus on helping students apply the concepts rather than just memorizing them. That said, as long as you put in a steady effort, it’s not too difficult to do well grade-wise. It’s just not the kind of class that inspires much enthusiasm or curiosity. Overall, it’s manageable and fair if you’re looking for an easy grade, but not particularly rewarding or engaging in terms of learning experience. A few adjustments to how the material is presented and a more interactive teaching approach could make this class much more enjoyable and effective.

Great course with Vaccari! I enjoyed the content and his teaching style, but this is a tough course. The homework assignments take time, and especially some thinking. He is a super enthusiastic professor, and I was rarely bored in his class.
This class consisted of lots of circuit building in the beginning which was tough but kind of fun to work through. The class then leaned into lots of binary numbers for computers which could get pretty confusing at times.
