Andrea Robbett
Really enjoyed this class. Prof was super effective at teaching the materials. Exams often reflect materials learned. As long as you do the hw you will be fine. She also offered students the chance to do hw as a group in class, so everything structurally made learning efficient.
Prof. Robbett is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The content of this course is so overwhelming and complex. It essentially reverses everything you know about the rational-actor and introduces the most confusing formulas. The content is very confusing and I think people with a genuine interest in this topic and micro would love this class. However, she does make it easy to succeed even if you have no idea what is going on. It's super chill until the exams come up: problem sets every week graded for completion. When exams approach, it is brute memorization of formulas and doing all the PS again and actually understanding at least the quantitative aspect of it. Her exams are essentially her PS, but slightly easier. Thus, if you can memorize the problem sets, you will be fine. However, I think I left this class with lots of broad knowledge about more realistic economic actors, but if you asked me how to calculate exact numbers and why formulas are used, I couldn't tell you why. In summary, a relatively easy A, but you might not get the most out of it.

Professor Robbett is an effective teacher. She assigns homework every week, but it’s graded for completion. The exams aren’t too difficult, and her expectations for students are clear. It's mainly lecture based, but during class she likes to play games which is effective.
