Alice Gindin

Gindin is a great professor. Very smart and helpful when needed. Her teaching style is a bit different from other econ classes I've taken. You follow along with her lectures with the respective handout, but it's hard to pay attention.

Helpful and well-structured class that made the material easy to understand. The professor explained concepts clearly and was very approachable. Grading was fair and overall pretty easy. Great learning experience.

Gindin is a super chill teacher, and definitely the most memorable aspect in her class was the note taking style. Essentially she just gives you a packet with blanks that you fill in during the lecture. Super helpful for studying, and the tests are exactly like the weekly problem sets, which can be a bit challenging before you fully understand the material, but are totally fair. Not a super tough class, but not a breeze either.
