Adi Livny
The course was mainly readings and discussion-based lectures. There were assignments, but the course was primarily oriented towards the final project that incorporated an oratory interview. Professor Livny was very helpful and understanding in this course.
Professor Livny organized the class in a very straightforward manner, with readings/videos about a new topic relating to the Israel-Palestine conflict each week, and going in chronological order. There is a good mix of assignments which is nice, with one individual essay, a presentation, a midterm multiple choice/short answer exam, and a final group project with an essay and presentation component. There's a good amount of reading, but it's pretty straightforward and helpful to do to effectively participate in class. The class discussions are useful, she asks helpful guiding questions and her lectures also help things make more sense. Overall, she's definitely not an easy grader, but I would say it's fair, and I feel like I learned a lot and feel much more informed on this topic, so it is a very useful class to take.

Intercultural Jerusalem was a fun class! You get to hone in on certain parts of the city throughout different time periods which I found very interesting and a great way to learn about the city. Would reccomend!
